Xiaomi Mi Max is official, has a 6.44" display and a 4850 mAh batteryMi Max by Xiaomi is finally a fact. The big, 6.44-inch of the display truly corresponds to the Max part of the model's name. It has an IPS panel with a 1080p resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. The panel covers 72% of the NTSC color gamut and has a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. In terms of performance, The camera department includes a 16-megapixel primary shooter with PDAF, an f/2.0 lens, and dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor and an 85-degree wide-angle lens with an f/2.0 aperture. Power is supplied by a 4760-4850 mAh battery. The model runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and Glonass. Xiaomi Mi Max has three variants. The first packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset with a hexa-core CPU, an Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The second version features a Snapdragon 652 SoC with an octa-core CPU, an Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The third has a Snapdragon 652 SoC chipset as well, but with more RAM and internal memory - 4GB and 128GB, respectively. The respective prices of the three variants are as follows: CNY 1499 (USD 230), CNY 1699 (USD 261), and CNY 1999 (USD 307).

Xiaomi to launch a white version of the Mi 6, available in 6+64GB and 6+128GB variants

Sales of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Ceramic Edition start tomorrow in China

On May 23, Xiaomi starts the first sale of the Mi 6 Ceramic Edition in China. The sale starts at 10AM local time on mi.com. This model has exactly the same hardware as the classic Xiaomi Mi 6, but its body is ceramic and there are 18K gold rims for the two rear cameras. This edition will be priced at CNY 2999 (USD 435).
