Bluboo unveils the Edge with a well-known design and entry-level specsBluboo has unveiled the Bluboo Edge - reminiscent of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's design, it has curved vertical edges on both sides. The body is metal with the chassis and frame being crafted by using an advanced CNC and nano-molding process, while the backplate has undergone treatment with IML electroplating, which creates a beautiful visual effect and finish. In addition, the dual-layer touch panel is more durable and touch sensitive. It even supports touch by wet hands and gloves. Bluboo has chosen a single-button navigation. The home button has a built-in smart touch sensor, which, besides serving for storing fingerprint IDs and unlocking the device, serves as a navigation bar. A light touch on it serves as a back button, two light touches bring up the home screen. Moreover, the device has a built-in hear sensor as well. Bluboo Edge's hardware is based on a MediaTek MT6737T chipset with a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU and a 600MHz dual-core Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. They are aided by 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of storage. The latter can be expanded with up to 256GB. The camera department includes a 13MP primary shooter with a custom Sony sensor and an 8MP front-facing snapper. A 2600 mAh battery keeps the lights on.
