Xiaomi Redmi Pro unveiled officiallyXiaomi's event in Beijing revealing the current flagship from the Redmi series has began. Devices from this series are the most popular ones in China and for the past three years Xiaomi has sold more than 110 million Redmi units. Redmi 2 and Redmi Note 3 have also won "The Best Economic Smartphone" in GSMA. The most interesting feature of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro is its dual camera set up on the rear. Both modules are placed vertically. The main one features a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor and is used for still images, while the second has a 5MP Samsung sensor that captures depth information. The dynamic depth of field allows you to choose the focus point after you have taken the photo. It is enabled by MediaTek's ImagiQ image signal processor. The front-facing shooter is 5-megapixel as well and has a wide-angle lens. The device features a brushed aluminum body with CNC chamfered edges. On the front below the display is placed the ceramic home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. A USB Type-C port is seen at the bottom frame with speaker grille holes on both sides of it. Redmi Pro boasts a 5.5-inch OLED display, which covers 100% of te NTSC color gamut and has a super-high contrast ratio of 60000:1. The top glass layer has 2.5D curved edges, but there's no mention of any special protective glass. The model is powered by a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset with a deca-core architecture and up to 2.5GHz clock rate. It also includes a Mali-T880 GPU. The on-board RAM and storage are quite generous and measure 4GB and 128GB, respectively. Lights are kept on by a 4050 mAh battery. The smartphone supports 4G LTE with VoLTE and is available in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey. Actually, Redmi Pro has three versions. Redmi Pro Standard Edition has a Helio X20 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It costs CNY 1499 (USD 225). Redmi Pro High Edition packs a Helio X25 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is priced at CNY 1699 (USD 255). Redmi Pro Exclusive Edition is the one with a Helio X25 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Its price is set at CNY 1999 (USD 300). Sales of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Ceramic Edition start tomorrow in China

On May 23, Xiaomi starts the first sale of the Mi 6 Ceramic Edition in China. The sale starts at 10AM local time on mi.com.
