Doogee V10 Review - 5G connectivity and great battery life in a compact rugged package

Display

The Doogee V10 is equipped with a 6.39-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels, 400 nits of typical brightness, and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio. Corning Gorilla Glass is used for protection. The Display settings contain all the standard options for managing the screen - adjust the brightness level, choose a wallpaper, font size, display size, screen saver, toggle on/off the dark theme, Night Light, adaptive brightness, lift to wake function, manage the Lock Screen and LED notification light. According to our measurements, the maximum brightness of the display is 452.752 cd/m² measured on a fully white screen. Below you will find the white and black luminance, static contrast ratio, and color temperature of the display measured twice - once on a single frame that displays 50% white and 50% black and second, on two separate frames displaying a fully white and a fully black screen, respectively.

The single-frame measurements show a white and black luminance that is lower than those measured on two separate black and white frames. However, the contrast ratio from both types of measurement is one and the same - 1600:1. The temperature of the white point is also within one and the same range from 9300 K to 9500 K.

Our brightness uniformity measurement shows that the display is not uniformly bright. The bottom one-third of the display is the least bright with an average of 406 cd/m². The middle third is the brightest with an average of 436 cd/m². The top one-third is somewhere between the other two with an average white luminance of 413 cd/m². The temperature of the white point also varies from 8900 K in the top, 9300 K in the middle, and 9400 K in the bottom. The CIE diagram shows a color space coverage that's slightly lower than 100% sRGB and does not cover it exactly. The display panel has a traditional vertical striped RGB subpixel arrangement.
