Doogee N30 Review

Overview

The Doogee N30 competes in a rather saturated market of mid-range smartphones where the specifications/price ratio is taken to its highest levels and even small details can be dealbreakers. The N30 fits better in the lower-mid-range market and its price of USD 110 is quite tempting. For this money, you get a smartphone with a decent display, good battery life, a dated but reliable chipset, a good main rear camera. Specifications

Doogee N30 has a 6.55-inch in-cell IPS display with an HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels). There's a punch hole in the top-left corner of the screen for the 8MP Samsung SK54H7 camera for selfies. The rear camera module comprises of a 16 OmniVision OV16880 primary shooter, an 8MP Sony IMX219 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 130° field of view, a 2MP GalaxyCore GC2385 macro unit, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens. The smartphone is based on a MediaTek Helio A25 (MT6762V) chipset that houses an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked up to 1.8GHz and a 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. There are 4GB of LPDDRD4X RAM onboard and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 built-in memory that can be expanded. A 4180 mAh battery with a 10W charger keeps the lights on.

The Doogee N30 is equipped with a tri-slot tray for a microSD card and two Nano-SIM cards with both SIM cards supporting 4G LTE and VoLTE simultaneously. The model works with the following network bands: 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/8), 4G FDD-LTE (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/19/20/28). The wireless connectivity options of the Doogee N30 include Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Display. The smartphone also supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and is equipped with a 3.5 mm jack and a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support. It runs on Android 10.
