Overview

Oukitel K8000 is Oukitel's first smartphone with an AMOLED display. It also packs an 8000 mAh battery, which according to the manufacturer's own lab tests lasts even longer than the Oukitel K10000 Pro. Both of these features coupled with a very attractive price well below $200 attract the attention of people looking for a smartphone. Usually, Oukitel smartphones have a solid build and the company has already built a good reputation and trust among smartphone users. Specifications

Oukitel K8000 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display from Samsung with an HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels) and a 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass for protection. The display covers 96% of NTSC. Below it, there's a capacitive home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. The body is made from a single slab of aircraft-grade aluminium alloy that has been CNC crafted. It houses a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T system-on-chip that employs an octa-core CPU. It consists of two stacks each of four Cortex-A53 cores. The first is clocked at 1.5GHz and the second - at 1GHz. The CPU is adjoined by a dual-core Mali-T860 MP2 GPU clocked at 650MHz. There are 4GB of single-channel, LPDDR3 RAM clocked at 833MHz and 64GB of built-in memory that can be expanded with up to 128GB. The model is equipped with a hybrid, dual Nano-SIM tray and supports the following network bands 2G GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), 3G WCDMA (900, 2100 MHz), 4G LTE-FDD (800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz). 4G speeds are Cat. 6 ones. The K8000 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, HotKnot and Bluetooth 4.2. It works with GPS and GLONASS and is equipped with a Micro-USB 2.0 port with OTG support. A 3.5 mm jack is provided as well. The camera department includes a dual camera module on the back that packs a 13MP ON Semiconductor AR1335 sensor interpolated to 16MP and combined with an f/1.8 lens. The auxiliary camera has a 2MP sensor. Both shooters are aided by a dual-LED flash. The selfie camera on the front is equipped with an 8MP OmniVision OV8856 sensor, interpolated to 13 megapixels and combined with an f/2.2 lens. Power is supplied by an 8000 mAh battery from SCUD that supports MediaTek Pump Express 2.0 and arrives with a 9V/2A fast charger. The smartphone runs on almost stock Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
