The Ulefone Note 18 Ultra is a slim and elegant smartphone wih a symmetrical flat profile. A 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protects the front. The rear shell has a beautiful 3D petal pattern with AG coating creating mesmerizing effects when light comes into play. The titanium-aluminum alloy frame has a matte finish with glossy chamfered edges that discretely underline the sophisticated look and feel. You can choose from three gorgeous colors - Titanium Gray, Lustrous Black, and Moonlit White. We are reviewing a white version with a delicate pearlescent effect. But the Note 18 Ultra is not only about the looks. The metal frame enhances the overall durability of the handset. Ulefone says the model is splashproof, meaning it can effectively withstand accidental splashes of liquids, rain, etc. The device is 76.8 mm wide, 168.8 mm high, and 8.85 mm thick. It weighs 211.6 grams. The handheld experience is excellent. The AG glass on the rear shell does not attract fingerprints and while it offers a degree of protection, there's a transparent TPU case included in the box for peace of mind. The big display on the front has very thin bezels - 2 mm on the top and sides and 4 mm at the bottom. The receiver is placed right between the display and the frame. There's a punch hole in the top-center of the screen for the 32MP selfie camera. The LED notification light and the light and proximity sensors are positioned to the right on the top bezel. The device arrives with on-screen gestures activated by default but you can also activate the virtual navigation bar. You get several customization options for both types of system navigation. Without a doubt, the design of the rear shell has iPhone vibes. The minimalist layout includes a square camera island with rounded corners positioned in the top left corner. The two rear cameras are vertically aligned, while the LED flash module is shaped as a lens and placed to their right. The Ulefone logo at the bottom is the only other element on the back of the device. The left frame of the device houses a small customizable button and the Volume Up and Down buttons. The right frame is the home of the Power button with an embedded capacitive fingerprint sensor. The IR blaster and the 3.5 mm headphone jack are positioned on the top frame, while on the bottom one, you can see the speaker, the USB Type-C port, the microphone, and the hybrid, dual SIM card tray.
