Overview

The Doogee S97 Pro belongs to the brand's most successful series - the S one. These are mid-range, ruggedized smartphones, each of which has a unique feature complementing a well-balanced package of specs. In the case of the S97 Pro, this is the laser rangefinder - a feature that can be equally useful to people at home and to professionals while on the go. A large battery, MediaTek G-series chipset, generous RAM and storage, Samsung-based cameras - all these features create a smartphone that's worth checking out.

The Doogee S97 Pro's front is adorned with a 6.39-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. Protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5, it offers a typical brightness of 400 cd/m². There's a punch hole in the top left corner of the display that houses the 16MP Samsung S5K3P3 front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens, 80° FoV. The rear camera module comprises four shooters - a 48MP Samsung S5KGM1 main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, 6-element lens, 90° FoV, an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultra-wide-angle unit with a 130° FoV, a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M2 macro lens, and a 2MP 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M2 depth-sensing lens. An 8500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The processing power depends on a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset that houses an octa-core CPU with two 2.05GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores. A quad-core ARM Mali-G76 GPU clocked at 900MHz manages the graphics. There are 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of Samsung UFS 2.0 storage onboard. The built-in memory can be expanded.

The Doogee S97 Pro has a hybrid, dual Nano-SIM tray with both SIM cards supporting 4G VoLTE. The network bands supported by both cards are as follows: 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/8), 4G TDD-LTE (38/40), 4G FDD-LTE (B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B/66). The wireless connectivity options of the model include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Display. The smartphone also supports NFC and works with GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. The device has a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 11 with Doogee's overlay on top. The rugged body is IP68 and IP69K rated for water and dust resistance and has a MIL-STD-810G certification for resistance to drops, shock, pressure, humidity, acidic atmosphere, temperature extremes, and similar types of impact.
