Overview

The Oukitel WP13 combines rugged qualities and design, dual-SIM 5G connectivity, a modern chipset, and a fairly sized battery with a 48MP main camera and an extra such as an infrared thermometer. The sum of all these features is an attractive modern smartphone that can survive everyday extremities and at the same time provide the power and connectivity necessary to enjoy various types of media while on the go.

Specifications

The Oukitel WP13 is built around a 6.52-inch IPS display panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The glass generation is not specified. The V-shaped notch is the home of the OmniVision OV8858 front camera. The octagonal module on the back of the device houses the 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera, the 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M2 unit, and the 0.3MP depth-sensing lens. This is where you will also find the infrared temperature sensor and the LED flash. A 5280 mAh battery powers the device and is paired with an 18W fast charger. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MT6833) chipset ticks under the hood. Built on TSMC's 7nm production process, it packs an octa-core CPU with two 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores. A dual-core ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU clocked at 955 MHz is responsible for the graphics. The smartphone arrives with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that can be expanded.

The Oukitel WP13 is IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810G certified for resistance to water, dust, drops, shock, pressure, humidity, temperature extremes, etc. It has a hybrid, dual Nano-SIM tray with both SIM cards supporting 5G. The network bands supported by both cards are as follows: 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/8), 4G FDD-LTE (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/26/28/66), 4G TDD-LTE (34/38/39/40/41), and 5G (n1/n3/n38/n41/n77/n78). The wireless connectivity options of this smartphone include Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Display. The smartphone also supports NFC and works with GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. A USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support, a customizable button, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are also provided. The Oukitel WP13 runs on Android 11.
