Overview

Oukitel Mix 2 is yet another step from Oukitel to enter the upper mid-range smartphone market and establish itself as a solid player there. The design of the smartphone draws its inspiration directly from Xiaomi Mi Mix and the model has a compelling set of specifications. The whole package is complemented by an attractive price tag. Specifications

Oukitel Mix 2 is equipped with a 5.99-inch in-cell IPS display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2160 pixels) and a 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass. Asahi Dragontrail glass protects the back as well and the middle frame is made of aluminium alloy with a glossy finish. Under the glass hood, a MediaTek Helio P25 (MT6757CH) chipset ticks. It is built after the 16 nm process and houses an octa-core CPU. It consists of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.39GHz and another quadruplet of those clocked at 1.6GHz. It is coupled with a dual-core 900MHz Mali-T880 MP2 GPU. There are 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, dual-channel clocked at 1600MHz and 64GB of expandable storage. There's Cat. 6 LTE modem and the model supports 2G GSM (850, 900,1800, 1900 MHz), 3G WCDMA (900, 2100 MHz), and 4G LTE-FDD (800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz) network bands. The Mix 2 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, and Bluetooth 4.2. It works with GPS and GLONASS and is equipped with a Micro-USB 2.0 port with OTG support. A 3.5 mm jack is provided as well. There are two rear cameras on the back and a single front-facing shooter. The main rear snapper packs a 16MP Samsung S5K3P3 sensor, interpolated to 21MP. It is combined with an f/2.0 lens. The auxiliary rear camera has a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera features an 8MP SuperPix SP8407 sensor, interpolated to 13MP and coupled with an f/2.2 lens. On the front and back there's a single LED flash. The device is also equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Power is supplied by a 4080 mAh battery with a 9V/2A fast charger. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
