Overview

Cubot KingKong X is very much like the KingKong AX which was launched in February. However, the KingKong X has two unbeatable advantages. First, it arrives with a newer-gen chipset that also supports 5G connectivity and delivers better performance all round. Second, the KingKong X has a twice as large battery offering excellent autonomy. At the same time, the device has retained its attractive design and manageable form factor along with a secondary display on the rear shell and bespoke ruggedized qualities with IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications. Specifications

Cubot KingKong X features a 6.583-inch in-cell IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. There's a secondary color display on the rear shell that's touch-sensitive. It is adjoined by the main 100MP OmniVision OVA0B40 camera with an f/1.89 aperture and a 6-element lens. There's also a 5MP OmniVision OV5670 macro lens with autofocus. The selfie camera uses a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with an f/2.25 aperture. A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (MT6877V) chipset ticks under the hood paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Power is supplied by a 10200 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone is equipped with a hybrid, dual-SIM tray supporting dual 5G connectivity. Both SIM cards work with the following network bands: 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/6/8/19), 4G FDD-LTE (B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28AB/66), 4G TDD-LTE (34/38/39/40/41), and 5G (n1/2/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41/66/77/78). The KingKong X runs on Android 14 and supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Cast Display. It is equipped with a USB Type-C 2.0 port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device also works with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou.
