Audio Test
The audio test has been performed by using the TASCAM US-2x2 audio interface and the RightMark Audio Analyzer software as usual. All audio enhancement features are disabled. The Frequency Response and IMD + Noise are rated as excellent, the THD + Noise is good. All other parameters are rated as very good and if it wasn't for the very poor Stereo crosstalk the result would be better. Currently, it is only "Good". Cubot Max 2 has a single, bottom-firing speaker placed to the right of the USB Type-C 2.0 port. According to our subjective opinion, it is not very loud and the sound comes out quite tinny.| Test | Value | RMAA rating |

Music App
By default, on Cubot Max 2 you may choose from the Android Music app and Google's Play Music. Of course, you can install any other music app you like. Both available applications sort the audio files in several folders according to the artist, song and album name, recently played songs, etc. Play Music also sorts according to the genre and has the playlists listed at the beginning, which is convenient. It also provides access to free and paid online music with all accessory settings for that (downloading, streaming, etc.). Both apps have one and the same default equalizer integrated. It offers a number of pre-set FX Booster effects, bass boost and surround-sound level bars. The level bars become active only if you plug in head/earphones.
