Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Camera App

The Camera app is a typical One UI one. At the very bottom of the screen, you get the reel with shooting modes. The default one is "Photo", followed by "Portrait" and "Fun" to its left and by "Video" and "More to its right. The big shutter button appears centrally above the reel with the shortcut to the Gallery app to its left and the camera switch to its right. The zoom levels appear above the shutter button. The default one is 1x and everything larger than it, up to 10x, uses the main camera. The 0.5x zoom level switches to the ultra-wide camera. The four-dot icon to the right opens the list of options that change depending on the shooting mode. For every shooting mode, you get a shortcut to the camera settings and for most - the flash settings.
The "Photo" mode includes aspect ratio, timer, resolution switch, motion photo setting, filters, contrast, and face beauty features. The "Video", "Portrait", "Fun", and "Video" modes are active for the front camera as well. The "More" tab contains the same additional shooting modes but not all are supported by the front camera. You can edit the shooting modes from the "Edit" icon on the top right or use Bixby from its icon on the top left.
The interface for the front camera is largely the same. The zoom icons are replaced by two other ones which you should use for a single or a group selfie, respectively. The camera settings include options for all cameras of the device and general features such as scene optimizer, text/document scanning, QR code scanning, custom filters, watermark, composition guide, location tags, shooting methods, auto HDR, EIS, etc. You can use either Samsung's Gallery or Google's Photo app to open and edit photos and videos. They both support AI features, which on the Gallery app are called Object Eraser, Background Blur, and Remaster, while on the Photos app, they are called Magic Eraser, Enhance, and Blur. Standard properties such as crop, leveling, filters, brightness, face effects, contrast, and others can also be edited.
