Specifications
UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition has an identical body and display like the ones of the model's siblings from the Z2 series - the UMIDIGI Z2 and Z2 Pro. The device has a 6.2-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution, 1500:1 static contrast ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The model's battery has the same capacity as the one of the Z2 - 3850 mAh. It supports the MediaTek Pump Express Plus fast charging technology and is paired with a 5V/2A~9V/2A~12V/1.5A fast charger. The chipset is also the same as the one on the Z2 - a MediaTek Helio P23 in its MT6763V variant. The CPU consists of eight Cortex-A53 cores, four of which tick at 2GHz and the other four - at 1.5GHz. The Mali-G71 MP2 GPU is clocked at 700MHz. The chipset is bundled with 4GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 1600MHz and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expanded with up to 256GB. Just like its siblings, UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition supports 36 bands and 7 network modes supported by both cards simultaneously which makes it suitable for almost every part of the world. The exact network bands are 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 2.5G CDMA (1X/BC0/BC1) and EVDO (BC0/BC1), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/8), 3G TD-SCDMA (34/39), 4G TDD-LTE (34/38/39/40/41) and 4G FDD-LTE (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B). The rest of the connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth 4.2. The camera department is the same as the one on the Z2 Pro and includes two front and two rear shooters. The rear module includes a 16MP Samsung S5K2P7 ISOCELL Fast sensor with an f/1.7 lens and an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 shooter. They are aided by a dual-LED flash and PDAF. The front module houses a 16MP Sony IMX317 main camera and a VGA SuperPix SP0A09 auxiliary one that's interpolated to 8 megapixels. The smartphone is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, single, bottom-firing speaker, a USB Type-C port and a hybrid, dual-SIM tray. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.Complete UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition specifications.
