Overview

Oukitel K3 is a first for Oukitel in several aspects. It is the first from the K series to break the naming tradition and contains only a single digit after the K. Not only this, the number does not correspond to the battery capacity of the model. The most distinctive feature of the K3 is its elegant design. Oukitel is usually more conservative when it comes to smartphone design and outs straightforward or rugged devices from the K series with no comprise in terms of build. The K3 combines elegance and a mix of fragility and toughness, which all correspond to its idea of symmetry and balance. Oukitel combines this with a beefy 6000 mAh battery and throws in the package two rear and two front cameras, which probably makes the K3 irresistible to everyone who is looking for a reliable smartphone with great autonomy and dual cameras on the front and back. Specifications

Oukitel K3 packs a 5.5-inch IPS Sharp display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass for protection. Hardware-wise, the model is based on a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T system-on-chip made after the 28nm process. It contains eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores. Four are clocked at 1.5GHz and the rest - at 1GHz. The CPU is in tandem with a 650MHz dual-core Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 4GB of single-channel LPDDR3 RAM clocked at 833MHz. The internal storage is eMMC 5.1 and measures 64GB. It can be expanded with up to 128GB. The model is equipped with a hybrid, dual Nano-SIM tray and supports 2G GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), 3G WCDMA (850, 900, 2100 MHz), 4G LTE-FDD (800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz) networks plus VoLTE. 4G speeds are Cat. 6 ones. The K3 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Calling, Cast display, HotKnot, and Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS. It is equipped with a Micro-USB 2.0 with OTG support, a 3.5 mm jack, a single, bottom-firing speaker, and a press- and touch-sensitive front-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. The camera department is quite generous and has two identical setups on the front and back. The first rear camera packs a 13MP Samsung S5K3L8 sensor, interpolated to 16MP, while the second has a 2MP sensor. Both are complemented by a 6-element lens. The same combination of cameras is placed on the front of the device. A 6000 mAh high-density Li-Pol battery keeps the lights on.
