Overview

Ulefone has already built quite a name for itself in the niche of rugged smartphones creating devices with mid-ranged specifications, distinctive features, and a bespoke build that can withstand most of everyday and environmental challenges. Power Armor 19T is part of a lineup of Ulefone smartphones that share a lot in common, so its specs sheet can sound familiar. It is almost entirely identical to the Power Armor 19, which we have already reviewed, but there's one distinctive feature on the Power Armor 19T - it arrives with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal imaging camera. Specifications

Ulefone Power Armor 19T is fitted with a 6.58-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It delivers smooth visuals thanks to its native 120 Hz refresh rate. You can manually lower it to 90Hz or 60Hz or simply let the device decide which is best depending on the content. The screen is protected by a 1.1 mm-thick Corning Gorilla Glass with an oleophobic coating. It also supports Glove Mode which has to be explicitly activated from the settings in order to work. The display is additionally protected by the thick metal frame covers with shock-absorbing TPU that is reinforced in the corners. The model is P68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certified for being resistant to water, dust, sand, drops, extreme temperatures, etc. It has quite a footprint due to its ruggedized character that requires the use of specific materials and a specific way of designing. Moreover, there's a 9600 mAh battery under the hood that supports 66W fast charging, 15W Qi wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

Ulefone Power Armor 19T features the snappy and stable 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) chipset. This SoC has a 2.2GHz CPU and a 1GHz dual-core Mali-G57 GPU. On this model, it is paired with 12GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded with up to 5GB. There are also 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. This one can also be expanded via the microSD card slot in the dual, hybrid Nano-SIM card tray. The smartphone supports the following network bands on both SIM cards: 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 2.5G (BC0/BC1/BC10), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/6/8/19), 4G FDD-LTE (B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B/66/71), and 4G TDD-LTE (34/38/39/40/41). The rest of the connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Wi-Fi Display. The device also has a built-in antenna that does not require headphones in order to listen to the radio. A USB Type-C 2.0 port, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are also fitted on the model which runs on Android 12 and works with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou.

The camera department comprises a 16MP Sony IMX481 selfie snapper with a 5-element lens and an f/2.2 aperture on the front and four rear cameras. The main one uses a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor combined with a 6-element lens with an f/1.89 aperture and an 82.3° FoV. There's a 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 super-macro camera with 60x digital zoom, an f/3.0 lens, and a 77° FoV. Finally, there's the FLIR Lepton 3.5 with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels. What's in the box

Ulefone has been using yellow and black industrial-style designed boxes for its Armor series for quite some time now. The Power Armor 19T arrives in one such box with a "T" sticker on the top right corner of the lid to designate the model variation.
