Oukitel WP61 Plus Battery Life Tests

Oukitel WP61 Plus boasts a 20000 mAh Li-Pol battery pack with 45W fast charging support. Below, we publish the results from our charging and in-house developed battery life tests. The display of every device we test is calibrated to 200 cd/m², and battery-saving features are disabled. Using the included USB cable and charger, the Oukitel WP61 Plus charges from 0% to 100% in 3 hours and 40 minutes. The charging rate remains fairly consistent until the battery reaches about 90%, after which the final 10% fills more slowly, taking roughly 45 minutes. Battery temperature begins at 25°C, rises to 30°C within the first 5 minutes, and gradually climbs to 40°C over the next hour and a half. It stays at this level for about an hour before cooling down again, eventually returning to 27°C by the end of the cycle. The voltage curve follows a typical pattern: an initial jump from 3500 mV to 3950 mV in the first 5 minutes, followed by a steady rise until the battery reaches around 85% charge. At that point, the voltage stabilizes at 4450 mV and remains there until charging is complete. In our intensive browsing test with the refresh rate locked at 60Hz, the battery lasted an impressive 58 hours. Discharge is gradual during the first 2 hours and 30 minutes, then accelerates and maintains a steady pace until depletion. Battery temperature begins at 23°C, climbs to 37°C within the first 2 hours, and then fluctuates between 36°C and 37°C for the remainder of the test. During our intensive browsing test with the screen's refresh rate set at 120Hz, the battery lasted 43 hours and 54 minutes. The discharging process is slow for the first 1 hour and 30 minutes, but gains speed and maintains it until the end. The battery temperature starts at 24°C, reaches 39°C in 1 hour, and fluctuates in the 38°C-40°C range until the end. For the video playback battery test, we used a 1080p, 30 fps video encoded at roughly 20 Mbps. The WP61 Plus achieved a runtime of 70 hours and 12 minutes. The discharge curve mirrors the pattern seen in other tests, beginning with a slower drop before settling into a steady decline. Battery temperature also follows a consistent trend - rising sharply from 25°C to 36°C within the first 1 hour and 30 minutes, then fluctuating between 35°C and 37°C for the remainder of the test. In the 4K video playback battery test, which uses a 2160p, 30 fps file encoded at roughly 55 Mbps, the Oukitel WP61 Plus achieved a runtime of 20 hours and 54 minutes. The discharge curve shows a gentle decline during the first hour, followed by a steady, consistent drain until the battery is depleted. Battery temperature begins at 23°C, rises to 41°C within the first hour, and then remains stable, fluctuating between 43°C and 44°C for the rest of the test. Real Racing 3 is currently used for our 3D Graphics/Gaming tests. The WP61 Plus battery lasted for 49 hours and 15 minutes. The discharging process is slow for the first 3 hours, after which, it regains speed and maintains it until the end. The battery temperature starts at 24°C, increases to 38°C in 3 hours, and fluctuates in the 37°C-39°C range until the end. We also ran our 3D Graphics/Gaming battery test at a 120Hz refresh rate, where the WP61 Plus delivered a runtime of 41 hours and 34 minutes. This is the only scenario that shows a noticeably different pattern in both discharge behavior and temperature development. The battery drains at a steady, consistent rate from start to finish, and the temperature remains stable as well - holding between 38°C and 39°C throughout the entire test.

Battery Settings

The Battery menu has a classic layout. First off, you see the current battery percentage and status - charging/not charging. Then, you can check the battery usage and some related stats. The second menu manages the battery saver settings - scheduling, auto turn on/off, etc. The Battery Manager toggle is third, followed by the toggle for hiding/showing the battery percentage in the status bar. Finally, you get the Battery Health options with four levels of charging modes for battery protection.
