LeTV enters the smartphone market with three high-end smartphonesLeTV is a start-up smartphone manufacturer that targets the high-end market with its very first devices. Today it launched the LeTV S1 and two variants - the LeTV S1 Pro and the LeTV S1 Max, all three with almost non-existent bezels. The basic model is priced at CNY 1499 (USD 241) for its 16GB version, CNY 1599 (USD 257) for its 32GB version and CNY 1799 (USD 289) for the 64GB version. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p display by Sharp protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by the well-known 64-bit Helio X10 CPU by MediaTek coupled with a PowerVR 6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. 4G LTE networks are supported, of course. On the back is mounted a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 camera, while on the front sits a 5-megapixel shooter. The battery's capacity measures 3000 mAh and is charged via a USB Type C plug. The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with LeUI on top. The LeTV S1 Pro has an aluminum alloy body, unlike the plastic one of the classic version. It sports a 5.5-inch 2K display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with an updated LeHi-fi audio chip as well as more RAM - 4GB. The smartphone supports two SIM cards and is equipped with a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 rear camera plus a 4-megapixel UltraPixel shooter on the front. The battery has the same 3000 mAh capacity and a USB Type C plug for charging. The device supports MHL. There are two storage flavours of the smartphone. The 32GB variant costs CNY 2499 (USD 402), while the 64GB variant will set you back with CNY 2699 (USD 434). Logically, the LeTV S1 Max has the highest level of specifications of the three. However, its pricing has not been revealed, though it is expected to be CNY 3000 (USD 482) and above. It has a larger 6-inch display, again with a 2K resolution. The chipset is the same as the one of the S1 Pro - a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 one with 4GB of RAM. Besides the LeHi-fi audio chip, it also provides 4G LTE Cat.9 network support. The battery's capacity is increased to 3400 mAh to support the larger display. It comes with a USB Type C plug too. The rear camera boasts a 21-megapixel Sony IMX 230 sensor with dual-LED flash and OIS. On the front sits a 4-emgapixel UltraPixel shooter. The device also supports MHL.Nachrichtenquelle
