Ulefone Power Atmot 16S has a classic design of a ruggedized smartphone. The all-black body has several accents in bright orange or black. The accentuated design elements are the outer display frame, the customizable button, the underbody (where visible), the lanyard hole, and the rim around the speaker. We are reviewing a version with bright orange accents and it looks fresh and sporty, indeed. The smartphone is 83.35 mm wide, 173.4 mm tall, 18.3 mm thick, and weighs 405 g. Ulefone Power Atmot 16S can withstand soaks in water for up to 30 minutes at 1.5 meters of depth, drops from 1.5 m, and dust. The model is IP68 and IP69K-rated as well as MIL_STD-810H certified. The device combines metal for the chassis with metal side frames, tough plastic for the inner display and speaker casings as well as shock-absorbing TPU that covers the entire rear shell, the top and bottom frames, and partially - the side frames. The four corners are reinforced. The rear shell part has a carbon fiber pattern. The front is occupied by a display with sharp corners and thick bezels. The top bezel houses the 8 MP selfie camera, the receiver, the light and proximity sensor, and the LED notification light. The sensors and the notification light are positioned to the right of the received, while the camera is to its left. You can choose from on-screen gestures for navigation and a virtual navigation bar. The rear shell is dominated by the big speaker. It is at the center of the round module that occupies the top half of the body. The main camera is positioned to the left of the speaker along with the LED flash. The macro camera is placed to the right. The speaker itself has a 11.5 CC sound cavity, can reach a maximum loudness of 122 dB, and has a power of 3.5W. The POGO pins for doc charging are positioned at the bottom part of the rear shell followed by the hole for the lanytard string. The top frame is the home of the bright torch (126 Lumens). The bottom one houses the USB Type-C port and the headphone jack both protected by an insulating cap. There's a microphone hole there as well. The triple-slot SIM card tray is positioned on the left frame followed by the customizable button and the uSmart connector. The Volume rocker and the Power button are positioned on the right frame.
