Unihertz Jelly Star Review
29 May 2023, 03:56:50

Overview
Unihertz Jelly Star has its roots in Unihertz's expertise in building compact smartphones with throwbacks to the earlier Jelly smartphones as well as the Atom series (partially). Add in some inspiration from the Unihertz Luna and you get a really impressive modern smartphone in a small body. The striking design of the device is combined with a carefully created specs list that does not compromise on any of the features. If you need a good mid-ranger for an affordable price with a compact form factor and attractive design - the Jelly Star should be on the top of your list with considerations.Specifications
Unihertz Jelly Star is built around a 3.03-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and packs a 2000 mAh battery with 7.5W charging support. The processing power of the model depends on the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) chipset that houses a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a 1GHz dual-core Mali-G57 GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage. The camera department is represented by a 48MP Samsung S5KGM2 main shooter with an f/1.75 aperture and an 8MP Sony IMX219 Exmor R selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Unihertz Jelly Star has a hybrid, dual-SIM card tray with both slots for SIM cards supporting the following network bands 2G GSM (2/3/5/8), 2.5G (BC0/BC1), 3G WCDMA (1/2/4/5/6/8), 4G TDD-LTE (38/39/40/41), and 4G FDD-LTE (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B/66). The wireless connectivity options of the model include Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Wi-Fi Display. The smartphone also supports NFC and has an IR blaster that can easily turn the handset into a convenient remote controller. It works with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou and is fitted with a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG, a 3.5 mm jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. There's also a customizable physical button. The Jelly Star runs on stock Android 13.Complete Unihertz Jelly Star specifications.
