Battery Tests

The AGM H6 is equipped with a 4900 mAh Li-Ion battery. The unit arrives with a 10W charger. Below we publish the results from our proprietary battery tests. Each is performed with the screen of the device being calibrated to 200 cd/m2 and with battery-saving features disabled.
Charging (2 hours and 30 minutes)
Our AGM H6 review unit charged from 0 to 100% in 2 hours and 30 minutes. The charging process is relatively slower during the first 5 minutes but gains speed and maintains it until the battery regains 90% of its charge - that happens 1 hour and 55 minutes from the start. Afterward, the process slows down significantly and even more so, after the 97th percent. It takes half an hour to charge from 90% to 100%. The battery temperature starts at 33°C and in half an hour it increases to 35°C. After another half an hour, it measures 37°C and remains at this level for 50 minutes. Then, the battery temperature begins decreasing to drop to 27°C in the end.
Browsing at 60Hz (11 hours and 49 minutes)
During our intensive browsing test, the battery of our review unit lasted for 11 hours and 49 minutes with the display's refresh rate set at 60Hz. The discharging process is relatively slow for the first 20 minutes but gains speed and maintains it relatively steady, until the battery drops to 3% of its charge. At that point, the process slows down significantly and it takes 40 minutes to drain it completely. The battery temperature starts at 25°C, reaches 30°C in half an hour, and remains at this level for around 8 hours. After that, it increases slowly to reach 33°C in the end.
Browsing at 00Hz (10 hours and 57 minutes)
The browsing test after the display's refresh rate was set at 90Hz, showed a battery stamina of 10 hours and 57 minutes. The discharging process follows the same pattern observed during the first browsing test. The battery temperature starts at 26°C, which increases to 31°C in 30 minutes, and to 32°C in another 15 minutes. It remains at this level until the end.
1080p Video (15 hours and 4 minutes)
1920x1080, 30 fps, H.264, 20Mbps bitrate
The video test for battery life uses a 1080p video at 30 fps with a ~20Mbps rate is used. Our review unit's score from this test is 15 hours and 4 minutes. The discharging process follows the same pattern observed during the browsing tests. The battery temperature starts at 24°C, reaches 30°C in 1 hour, and remains at this level until the end.
3D Graphics/Gaming (9 hours and 6 minutes)
YEBIS OpenGL ES 3.0 3D Tech Demo
For the 3D Graphics/Gaming test, the YEBIS OpenGL ES 3.0 3D Tech Demo is used. The result from this test is 9 hours and 6 minutes. The discharging curve is more pronounced at the end indicating the slowing of the discharging process has begun earlier more than an hour before the end and when the battery's charge is at 5%. The battery temperature begins at 27°C and slowly increases to 34°C, which takes almost 1 hour and a half. The temperature remains at this level almost until the end when it drops to 33°C.

Infrared thermography
The above photos of the AGM H6 are taken with a FLIR thermal camera. They clearly demonstrate that the AGM H6 has good thermal management. The left photo shows the device's temperature during charging. The hottest area is on the upper part of the left frame where the SIM tray is. This area has a temperature of 37.3°C. The second photo depicts the device's temperature during our 3D battery life test. In this case, the hottest part of the device is the same area on the left frame with a temperature of 39°C.

Battery Settings

The Battery menu offers a classic Android 13 design and layout while containing well-known options. It begins with battery status info, followed by battery usage data. It has a usage graph and information about which app or physical part of the device has consumed the most power. After that, you get the Battery Saver. This is a simple toggle but you get the option to schedule it based on the battery percentage. There's another toggle to turn off the saver when the battery reaches above 90% of its charge. When switched on, the battery saver turns on the Dark Theme and limits background activity, some visual effects, features, and network connections. There's also the Adaptive Battery toggle which monitors for apps that drain the battery and sends warning notifications if such are detected. An Ultra Saving Mode toggle is also provided. When switched on, it strips off the device of all of its bells and whistles leaving only basic phone functions and a completely dark theme. Moreover, there's a toggle for the battery percentage to appear in the status bar. AGM has also provided additional options such as app standby optimizer, a feature that kills all background apps once the screen is locked, app auto-launch, and power-intensive app management.
