Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Wi-Fi has an aluminum alloy body adorned with a 10.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorillas Glass 5 and features an automatic refresh rate that adapts up to 90 Hz. Two stereo speakers tuned by AKG and with Dolby Atmos certification complement the audio-visual experience ensuring expressive immersion in rich content. The camera department comprises an 8MP rear camera capable of shooting FHD videos, while on the front, there's a 12MP snapper with a 120° FoV and an f/2.4 aperture, capable of shooting 4K UHD videos. Power is supplied by an 8000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. The 45W fast charger is subject to a separate purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is based on the 5nm Samsung Exynos 1380 (S5E8835) system-on-chip. The 64-bit ARMv8.2-A system comprises a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU and a 950MHz penta-core Mali-G68 GPU. The model arrives with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 2133MHz and has 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The latter can be expanded. Since we are reviewing a Wi-Fi version, there is no slot for a SIM card and mobile connectivity is not supported. The tablet is equipped with a USB Type-C 2.0 port. It runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 on top and supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E.

What's in the box

We purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Wi-Fi from an online retailer. The device arrived in a flat and thin, white, rectangular box. On the lid, you will see the Galaxy Tab inscription, a photo of the slate, and the model name imprinted at the bottom.
