Battery Tests

Oukitel WP200 Pro is equipped with an 8800 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and reverse charging support. All battery tests we run on the devices we review are developed by us and performed with the screen of the device being calibrated to 200 cd/m². Battery-saving features are disabled. The battery of our review unit charged in full for 2 hours and 17 minutes. The charging process develops steadily from the start until the battery regains 90% of its charge. This happens 1 hour and 50 minutes from the start. The remaining 10% need 27 minutes to charge. The battery temperature starts at 30°C and gradually increases to reach its peak of 39°C 1 hour from the start. It remains at the level for 55 minutes and starts decreasing to reach 35°C in the end. During our intensive browsing test with the screen's refresh rate set at 60Hz, the battery lasted 19 hours and 34 minutes. The discharging process is slow for the first half an hour but gains speed and maintains it until the battery drops to 10% of its charge. At that point, the process slows down a bit. The battery temperature starts at 31°C and drops to 30°C after 45 minutes. This level is maintained for 3 hours, after which the temperature drops to 29°C, maintained for 6 hours and a half. Then the temperature drops again to 28°C and goes up to 29°C in 3 hours, maintaining this level until the end. During our intensive browsing test with the screen's refresh rate set at 120Hz, the battery lasted 16 hours and 51 minutes. The discharging process resembles the pattern from the previous browsing test with a slow start for more than 45 minutes and a slower ending that begins after the battery drops to 20%. The battery temperature starts at 31°C and drops to 29°C after 6 hours and 30 minutes, maintaining this level until the end. The video test for battery life uses a 1080p video at 30 fps with a ~20Mbps rate. Our review unit's score is 26 hours and 34 minutes. The discharging process begins slowly but after the first 30 minutes, it gains speed and maintains it until the end. The battery temperature starts at 23°C, reaches 25°C in 2 hours, and hits 26°C after 9 hours. This level is maintained for 8 hours and after that, the temperature drops back to 25°C, and once again to 24°C, remaining at this level until the end. The 4K video battery life test uses a 2160p video at 30 fps with a ~55 Mbps rate. In this test, the battery of the WP200 Pro lasted for 23 hours and 16 minutes. The discharging process graph is the same as the one for the 1080p video test. The battery temperature starts at 24°C, increases to 26°C in 2 hours, and after 6 hours hits 27°C. This level is maintained for 8 hours and a half, after which, the battery increases to 28°C. After another 5 hours, the temperature starts decreasing and in the end it measures 27°C. For the 3D Graphics/Gaming test, Real Racing 3 is used. The result from this test with the display's refresh rate set at 60Hz is 16 hours and 40 minutes. The discharging process also demonstrates a slower start but develops steadily until the end. The battery temperature starts at 31°C and after 6 hours drops to 28°C and this level is maintained almost until the end, when the temperature increases a notch to 29°C. We also ran Real Racing 3 as a 3D Graphics/Gaming test with the display's refresh rate set at 120 Hz. The result from this test is 14 hours and 25 minutes. The discharging process draws the same graph as the previous test. The battery temperature fluctuates between 29°C and 31°C from the start until the end.

Battery Settings

The Battery menu looks like a typical Android 13 - Android 14 one. It provided information about the current battery status, followed by information about the battery usage by apps and systems. The Battery Saver is next with options to be scheduled or not. An Adaptive Battery toggle is also included for limited power usage by apps that are not used often. Finally, there's the battery percentage toggle. The most noteworthy and noticeable change in power management is that the options to control power usage by each app from the "Apps" menu are gone.
