Battery Tests

Ulefone Power Armor 19 packs a 9600 mAh Li-Pol battery with 66W fast charging support, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. It arrives with a big 66W charger in the box and a thick USB-C to USB-C cable in yellow color. According to Ulefone, the talk time is up to 39 hours and the standby time is up to 524 hours. All battery tests we run on the devices we review are developed by us and performed with the screen of the device being calibrated to 200 cd/m2. Battery-saving features are disabled.
Charging (1 hour and 15 minutes)
The battery of our review unit was charged in full for 1 hour and 15 minutes with the provided USB data cable and charger. The charging process is very speedy for the first 13 minutes during which the battery regains 30% of its charge. It slows down a bit and from 30% to 80% it charges for 35 minutes. After that, charging slows down again and even more, after 90% is reached. The battery temperature starts at 30°C and immediately increases to 38°C continuing to rise. In 10 minutes, the temperature reaches 50°C and fluctuates around this level for about 7 minutes. After that, it sticks to 48-49°C for half an hour. During the last 25 minutes of the process, the temperature decreases to measure 31°C in the end.
Browsing at 60 Hz (26 hours and 38 minutes)
During our intensive browsing test, the battery of our review unit lasted for 26 hours and 38 minutes. The discharging process develops steadily until the battery drops to 7% of this charge. At this point, the process intensifies. The battery temperature sticks to 29°C throughout the whole process.
Browsing at 120 Hz (20 hours and 8 minutes)
With the display's refresh rate set at 120Hz, the battery of our review unit lasted for 20 hours and 8 minutes. The discharging process draws the same curve as the one drawn during the test at 60Hz. The battery temperature starts at 27°C and after two hours reaches 33°C remaining at this level until the end.
1080p Video at 60 Hz (26 hours and 50 minutes)
1920x1080, 30 fps, H.264, 20Mbps bitrate
The video test for battery life uses a 1080p video at 30 fps with a ~20Mbps rate is used. Our review unit's score is 26 hours and 50 minutes. The discharging process follows the same pattern observed during the previous battery tests. The battery temperature sticks to the 29°C level.
2160p Video at 60 Hz (23 hours and 51 minutes)
3840x2160, 30 fps, H.264, ~55 Mbps bitrate
The 4K video battery life test uses a 2160p video at 30 fps with a ~55 Mbps rate. In this test, the battery of Ulefone Power Armor 19 lasted for 23 hours and 51 minutes. The discharging process curve is the same as the ones of the previous tests. The battery temperature maintains a 30°C level from the start until the end.
3D Graphics/Gaming 60 Hz (14 hours and 35 minutes)
YEBIS OpenGL ES 3.0 3D Tech Demo
For the 3D Graphics/Gaming test, the YEBIS OpenGL ES 3.0 3D Tech Demo is used. The result from this test is 14 hours and 35 minutes. The discharging process curve does not offer any surprises. The battery temperature is more dynamic during this test. It starts at 33°C and in 50 minutes reaches 35°C remaining at this level for 8 hours. After that, it increases to 36-37°C and stays at this level until the end.

Infrared thermography
The above photos of the Ulefone Power Armor 19 are taken with a FLIR thermal camera. The left photo shows the device's temperature during charging. There are two hottest parts with almost identical temperature readings. the first is right off the center of the upper half of the display with a temperature of 42.8°C. The second is on the left frame in the area of the customizable button and its temperature is 42.7°C. The center of the chin has a temperature of 41.4°C. The second photo depicts the device's temperature during our 3D battery life test. In this case, the hottest part is the center of the chin with a temperature of 34.7°C. The second hottest area is the same point that's to the right off the center of the upper half of the display with a temperature of 34.6°C.

Battery Settings

The Battery menu is a typical Android 12 one. The first element is the battery status followed by the Battery Saver. The latter is a toggle that can be activated manually or scheduled. It can also automatically switch off when the battery's charge goes above 90%. The Battery Manager detects apps that are draining the battery significantly and issues a notification with the option for you to restrict those apps. You can always toggle off this option. Finally, there's the battery percentage toggle that displays/hides the charge level in the battery icon on the status bar.
