Rear cameras, photo and video samples
Fossibot F102 is fitted with a trio of rear cameras. The main shooter uses a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor with a 1/1.52" optical format and a 0.7 μm pixel format. This ISOCELL sensor uses 9-in-1 pixel binning for a 2.1 μm pixel size and outputs 16MP photos in the case of this model. It is combined with an f/1.75 lens. There's a separate 108MP shooting mode if you want to try it out with the higher resolution. The main camera records 2K videos at 30 fps. The second rear camera is a 20MP Sony IMX350 Night Vision camera with an f/1.8 aperture and dual IR lights. It is also capable of FHD video recording. We have reviewed many smartphones with this exact same sensor for Night Vision and the Fossibot F102 does not perform any differently. The third rear camera is a 5MP macro unit using an SK Hynix Hi-556 sensor.Other smartphones that we have reviewed and use the 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor for their main cameras are the Ulefone Power Armor 19T, Unihertz Luna, Ulefone Power Armor 19, Doogee S100, Ulefone Power Armor 18T, Ulefone Armor 17 Pro, Doogee V30, and the POCO X4 Pro 5G.

Selfie camera
The front-facing camera of the Fossibot F102 uses a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor for its front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an 80° FoV. The sensor has a 1/2.8" optical format and a 0.8 μm pixel size. With 4-in-1 pixel binning the pixel size doubles up to 1.6 μm, hence the photo output is 16MP. The front camera records FHD videos at 30 fps. Facial recognition and unlock are supported. Below are several photos taken with the selfie camera.

Camera App
The Camera app has a UI that's already quite familiar among users of other rugged smartphones. It is quite straightforward, so if you're a first-time user, you won't have problems with it. There are three circular buttons at the bottom - the central is the shutter, the left is the shortcut to the photos and videos, and the third is the switch to the front camera and back. The reel of shooting modes appears above those buttons and the default shooting mode is dubbed "Picture". You can adjust the HDR and LED flash settings, digital zoom level, and from the settings cog you can also set the photo resolution, self-timer, continuous shooting, anti-flicker, gridlines, etc. To the left of "Picture", there's the "Video" shooting mode. It also allows LED and HDR adjustment, microphone and shutter sound turning on/off, video resolution selection, etc. Further to the left, there's the Night Vision mode. It switches to the Night Vision camera and uses the two IR lights to snap photos. In this case, the button to the right of the shutter switches to video recording with the Night Vision camera. If you want to take photos with a 108MP resolution, you have to choose the same shooting mode located to the right of "Picture". The "Beauty" mode is right next to it allowing for manual adjustment of the overall beautification level, skin buffing, whitening, slimming, and other features. The "More" shooting mode includes the Pro mode, which allows for manual adjustment of the white balance, ISO, exposure, focus style, and shutter speed. It also comprises the Portrait mode, Panorama, Mono, Bokeh, Slow motion, Gif, QR Code, and Macro. The latter switches to the macro camera. The interface for the front camera looks identical. Whenever you click on a shooting mode that's not supported by the front camera, it switches automatically to the rear ones. The Photos app is the default application to open and edit a photo. It arrives with Google Lens integrated.
