REDMAGIC Astra Specifications

REDMAGIC Astra boasts a 9.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 px. With 10-bit color bit depth, it covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The screen supports up to a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz standard touch sampling rate. It delivers a peak global brightness of 1100 cd/m² and a peak local brightness of 1600 cd/m². The selfie camera uses a 9MP OmniVision OV08X sensor with a 1.12 μm pixel size and an AI Algorithm. The rear camera uses a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Two 1620 speakers with DTS: X Ultra certification and two 0815 X-axis linear motors are also on board.

The REDMAGIC Astra is based on the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750-AB) mobile platform, housing a 4.23 GHz octa-core CPU and a 1.1 GHz Adreno 830 GPU. It is aided by a 13-layer ICE-X cooling system with Liquid Metal 2.0 technology, two dual-layer sandwich vapor chambers, and a quiet 22000 rpm cooling turbofan with 17 x 17 mm shark-fin blades. There are 12GB/16GB/24GB of quad-channel LPDDR5T RAM on board, clocked at 4800 MHz. The UFS 4.1 Pro storage arrives in three flavors - 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and cannot be expanded. An 8200 mAh battery keeps the lights on and supports 80W fast charging.

The Astra is a Wi-Fi-only tablet and does not support mobile telphony as well as satellite positioning. Running on Android 15 with REDMAGIC 10.5 OS with GameSpace, it supports various enhanced AI features, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, and Cast Display (SmartCast). The device is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor by Goodix and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) port with DisplayPort Alt Mode.
