Overview

The Ulefone Armor 27 Pro series has been introduced as the tougher version of the Armor 25 series. In many ways, the models from both series share a lot in common. However, the Armor 27 Pro series offers bigger batteries, a more robust design, and expanded connectivity options. In addition, there isn't a 4G variant and both the Armor 27 Pro and Armor 27T Pro arrive with a 5G chipset. Specifications

Ulefone Armor 27 Pro features a 6.78-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The unit is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with an oleophobic coating and glove touch support. The camera department of this smartphone comprises three rear shooters and a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 selfie unit with a 5-element lens, an f/2.45 aperture, and an 80.4° FoV. The main rear camera uses a 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 sensor with a 7-element lens, an f/1.95 aperture, and an 85° FoV. It is adjoined by a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Night Vision camera with an f/1.79 aperture, a 79.4° FoV, and dual IR lights. Finally, there's a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Power is supplied by a 10600 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. A 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (MT6835T) chipset ticks under the hood with a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU, a dual-core Mali-G57 GPU, 12GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded with up to 12GB and the storage can be expanded via a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2TB.

The smartphone is equipped with a triple-slot tray with a dedicated microSD card slot and two Nano-SIM card slots supporting the following network bands: 2G GSM (B2, B3, B5, B8), 2.5G (BC0, BBC1, BBC10), 3G WCDMA (B1, B2, B4, B5, B6, B8, B19), 4G FDD-LTE (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B 12, B13, B17, B18, B19, B20, B 25, B26, B28A, B28B, B66, B71), 4G TDD-LTE (B34, B38, B39, B40, B41), and 5G (n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n25, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78, n79). The model supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Cast Display. Moreover, the device arrives with a headphone-free radio, an IR blaster, a uSmart Connector 2.0, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a headphone jack, a customizable button, a single 1.5W 1216 BOX speaker, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 14 and works with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou.

Our review unit also arrived with the Armor Case for the Armor 27 Series. The case is 91.93 mm wide, 198.38 mm tall, and 26.1 mm thick. It is paired with a carabiner and a nack clip. The back clip ensures convenient rotation at 180 degrees for attaching the device at convenient angles.
