Oukitel WP56 Performance

Oukitel WP56 is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (MT6877V) chipset. This SoC is a re-branded Dimensity 1080, a variant of the Dimensity 900 (MT6877) and the Dimensity 920 (MT6877T). The Dimensity 7050 comprises an octa-core CPU with two 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores as well as a quad-core ARM Mali-G68 GPU clocked at 950 MHz. There are 12 GB of quad-channel LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 3200 MHz, which can be expanded with an additional 24 GB of virtual RAM. The built-in UFS 3.1 storage measures 512 GB and can be expanded via a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2 TB. Of the 512 GB onboard the device, 497 GB are available to the user. The built-in storage can be expanded via a microSD card. Our review unit scored 617,076 points on AnTuTu 10, which is an excellent result for this chipset and beats the 598,340 points of the Cubot KingKong X. which we reviewed last summer and is based on the same SoC. It also marks a significant improvement in the results of devices based on the Dimensity 900 and Dimensity 920 chipsets despite the small difference in CPU and GPU clock rates. This result puts the Dimensity 7050 on par with the AnTuTu results of the Snapdragon 778G and nears it to the performance of the Exynos 1380. The single-core and multi-core results from the Geekbench 6 tests also demonstrate that the Dimensity 7050 draws near the Dimensity 8020.
