Xiaomi Mi A1 is official with Android One, Snapdragon 625 and dual rear camerasXiaomi Mi A1 is the first Xiaomi smartphone with Android One. It features a full metal body with rounded rear edges and discreet separation lines available in black, gold, and rose gold colours. The device is just a bit over 7 mm in depth and weighs mere 168 grammes. It is adorned by a 5.5-inch LTPS 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass. The main selling point of the device is the dual rear camera setup. It includes one 12MP Sony IMX386 camera with a 26 mm wide-angle lens and a second 12MP Samsung S5K3M3 shooter with a 50 mm telephoto lens. Each can shoot autonomously and you can use them simultaneously as well - in this case, they employ Xiaomi's stereoscopic imaging and deep learning algorithm. The wide-angle camera is responsible for the detail and depth of field, while the telephoto one captures the main image. The shooters employ the Beautify 3.0 feature, 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom, and a dual-LED flash. Xiaomi Mi A1 is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with a 2GHz octa-core CPU, an Adreno 508 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR23 RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. Power is supplied by a 3080 mAh battery with fast charging. The smartphone has a dual pyrolytic graphite sheet that protects the device from overheating. There's a rear mounted fingerprint sensor from Fingerprint Cards (FPC1035). Some attention has been paid to the audio department as well. The device is equipped with a standalone 10V smart amplifier and employs Dirac HD Sound and DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm. The model runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat updatable to Android 8.0 Oreo.
