LeTV Le 1s has been officially presented today. The smartphone features a metal frame and body plus extremely thin bezels, which create an overall sleek and elegant look and feel. Its performance is based on a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) chipset, which includes a 2.2GHz CPU (the original CPU's clock rate is 2GHz) and a PowerVR G6200 GPU. There are also 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory on board. The display packs a 5.5-inch IPS panel with an FHD resolution and the lights are kept on by a 3000 mAh battery. The camera department shouldn't be overlooked either. It features a 13MP ISOCELL primary camera, phase detection auto-focus and an f/2.0 lens. The secondary camera on the front has a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E2 BSI sensor and an f/2.0, 85-degree wide-angle lens. Additionally, the LeTV Le 1s runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with LeTV's own EUI on top. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, with LTE bands that are market-dependent. The model has a finger-print scanner on the back that can also serve as a shutter for the camera as well as a USB C-Type port. The device will launch in India and China for now with a price of CNY 1099 (USD 173), which LeTV claims to be lower than the actual production cost of the smartphone that comes to around USD 206.
