The latter houses a 2.5GHz octa-core CPU and a dual-core Mali-G615 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM that can be virtually expanded with up to 8GB. There are 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage on board. No slot for a memory card. The device is built around a 3D curved U8 AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits of HBM. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch hole for the 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 selfie camera. The latter has a 5-element lens with an f/1.79 aperture and a 92° FoV. The rear camera department is headed by a 50MP Sony IMX882 shooter with an f/1.79 aperture, 5-element lens, a 79° FoV, OIS, and 4K video recording. There's an 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 116° FoV, a 5-element lens, and an f/2.2 aperture. A 5500 mAh battery powers the Vivo V40e supporting 80W fast charging. The plastic body of the model is available in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colors with an IP64 rating.
