Unihertz Jelly Max receives a major update; expect an updated camera section in our Jelly Max review

Unihertz has released a major update for the Jelly Max. The version number is 20250115-1907. The first and most important part is fixing the violetish tint on the photos and videos shot with the rear cameras; now all looks normal. Actually, the image quality seems to be quite promising but we're waiting for more agreeable weather conditions to make a full test of the cameras with more photo and video samples. When this is done, we will update our Unihertz Jell Max review. In addition, Unihertz has expanded the "Watermark" options in the camera settings providing choices for customization. For now, you can check out a photo shot with the main camera and a second one, shot with the telephoto unit.
The second set of changes is in the connectivity settings. Unihertz has added an option to scan a QR code for instant access to Wi-Fi networks. Private DNS is also added to the list while in the previous options, it was missing. The "Driving mode" sub-menu has been removed from the "Connection preferences" list. The latest update also fixes issues with the resolution of phone noise and the conflicting functions between the double tap on the screen and the power button.
