Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleAlmost two weeks after its Chinese debut, Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo X300 Ultra for global markets, marking the first international debut of the brand's ultimate X Series imaging flagship. As Vivo notes, the X300 Ultra "elevates mobile imaging to new heights," reflecting years of investment in optical engineering, computational photography, and system-level optimization.
At the heart of the camera system is the ZEISS Master Lenses Collection, built around three dedicated prime lenses at 85 mm, 35 mm, and 14 mm. Each module pairs its own ultra-sensing sensor with a fixed focal length to form a complete professional imaging setup. The 85 mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera features a 200 MP sensor, ZEISS T* coating, Super Blue Glass, 3° gimbal-level OIS, and 60 fps AF Tracking, enabling crisp long-range shots and fast-action capture. The 35 mm ZEISS Documentary Camera uses the large 1/1.12" Sony LYT-901 sensor with 200 MP direct output for natural, ultra-clear mid-range photography, while the 14 mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera brings main-camera-grade quality to one of the most frequently used focal lengths.
Vivo is also introducing two telephoto extenders co-engineered with ZEISS. The new 400 mm Equivalent Vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra debuts globally with a Kepler-inspired optical structure, 200 MP optical output, gimbal-grade OIS, and 60 fps AF Tracking. The lighter 200 mm Equivalent Telephoto Extender Gen 2 has been refined to just 153 g while maintaining high-end optical performance.
Color science receives a major overhaul with the debut of the all-new Vivo Color Science system. Powered by a 5MP multispectral sensor with 12 color channels and an upgraded flicker sensor, the phone performs per-pixel spectral analysis to isolate ambient light components. Vivo Refined Color aims to recreate the depth and nuance of classic optics, while a range of professional color styles and a customizable Color Palette give creators extensive control over tone and expression. The 2K ZEISS Master Color Display and Ultra XDR pipeline ensure end-to-end HDR accuracy from capture to viewing.
Video capabilities take a significant leap forward. All rear cameras support Multi-Focal 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log Video and Dolby Vision Video, enabling consistent cinematic performance across focal lengths. Multi-Focal 4K Master Color Video combines high-resolution capture with Vivo’s color science for film-like output straight from the camera. The new Pro Video Mode introduces cinema-style controls, custom 3D LUT monitoring, and ACES workflow compatibility, allowing mobile footage to integrate seamlessly into professional post-production pipelines. Audio recording is enhanced through an upgraded Quad-Mic Audio Recording Master with six intelligent presets for clean, targeted sound capture.
For photographers, the Vivo X300 Ultra expands its creative toolkit with Street Photography 3.0 on the 35 mm lens, SuperRAW support, and new Humanistic Color Styles. Portrait imaging benefits from the 35 mm and 85 mm lenses paired with the NICE 3.0 engine, delivering 200 MP Refined Portraits with natural textures and layered lighting. Landscape Mode 2.0 introduces Landscape Pro controls, new presets, multiple aspect ratios, and RAW/SuperRAW formats. The device also supports 60 fps AF Tracking Snapshot and 12 fps high-quality burst shooting for sports and wildlife scenarios.
Powering the flagship is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, supported by the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+ and a Liquid Cooling Vapor Chamber for sustained performance during intensive 4K 120 fps recording. The 6600 mAh BlueVolt Battery offers 100W FlashCharge, 40W wireless charging, and smart temperature-controlled bypass charging. The 2K ZEISS Master Color Display reaches 4500 nits peak brightness for accurate framing even in harsh sunlight. Connectivity and reliability are strengthened by features such as the Snap-Up Engine for high-speed ticketing, AI-powered Network Selection, Armor Glass, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0.
Running OriginOS 6, the X300 Ultra emphasizes seamless ecosystem integration with Vivo Office Kit, One-Tap Transfer for iPhone, Origin Island for intelligent intent recognition, and a secure Private Space. Vivo promises long-term performance with a 5-year OS upgrade and 7-year security maintenance commitment.
The device's design draws inspiration from classic cameras, featuring a Metal Biscuit-Style Camera Module, knurled textures, and engraved detailing. The Black edition uses a lightweight Unibody 3D Glass Fiber Design at 232 g, while the Green and White editions adopt a classic split aesthetic reminiscent of unprocessed film, all within an 8.49 mm profile. Pre-orders start later today with a special offer of EUR 1309, and sales commence on April 24th.
