8849 Tank Pad by Unihertz goes official

8849 Tank Pad by Unihertz has just been unveiled. It boasts very impressive specifications, so without further ado, let's get acquainted with it.
The display features a 10.95-inch diagonal size and an IPS panel with an FHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The protective glass has not been specified but the tablet has an IP68 and IP69K rating as well as a MIL-STD-810H certification for being resistant to drops, impact, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and water. The rear shell houses a big camping light. A pair of 1134 waterproof speakers with a loudness of 105 dB is also on board. The camera department has not been overlooked either. The rear shooter uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, while a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor sits on the front.
The 8849 Tank Pad by Unihertz packs a beefy 21000 mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. Processing power depends on the snappy and power-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM that can be virtually expanded with 16GB and 512GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The device supports dual-SIM 5G connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 5. It is also fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack, a USB Type-C port with OTG, and an IR blaster.
Moreover, the Tank Pad is fitted with a laser projector - model TI DLP 0.2. It has a resolution of 854 x 480 px, a typical brightness at the center of 100 Lumnes, and a brightness uniformity of 94% as per the projector's official specifications. A special physical dial is used to adjust the focus as the model has a focus range from 0.5 to 3 meters. The device has two waterproof outlets to take out the hot air from the fan that's cooling the projector, while in operation.
