Huawei to launch a 5G-enabled Kirin chipset in 2019 together with a 5G smartphoneThis week in Wuzhen, China, the 4th World Internet Conference is held. Huawei was awarded the 3GPP 5G Scientific and Technological Achievement Award at the conference on advanced scientific and technological achievements this morning, and Huawei's current CEO Xu Zhijun said that the company will launch a full-scale 5G network solution for large-scale commercial applications in 2018 to support operators in building 5G networks around the world, enabling the entire mobile Internet to take a new step toward opening up the Internet of Things and taking on the digitalization of all walks of life. At the same time, Huawei will launch a 5G Kirin chipset with AI in 2019 simultaneously with a 5G-enabled smartphone with AI.Source
