Vivo NEX 3 5G appears on official renders unveiling its front design

4 September 2019, 04:30:15

Vivo NEX 3 5G appears on official renders unveiling its front designVivo has published on its NEX Weibo page three official renders of the upcoming Vivo NEX 3 5G which will be introduced on September 16th. The renders unveil the front design of the handset confirming what earlier appeared on TENAA - strong lateral curves of the display. Renders usually exaggerate the design and these show that there are no side bezels at all. We expect that such bezels will actually exist but will be extremely thin. The top and bottom bezel are extremely thin and equal in width - just like on the latest Meizu smartphones. The full-screen design has been achieved by placing the front camera in a pop-up mechanism. TENAA has already unveiled all the main specifications of the model, so here they are.

Vivo NEX 3 5G will weigh 218.5 g and will have the following dimensions - 76.14 x 167.44 x 9.4 mm (w x h x d). It will be adorned with a 6.89-inch AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint sensor and an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2256). The photos from the TENAA listing unveil that the display and back will be 3D curved. The only available colour listed is gold but we expect to see other colour variants when the model is officially unveiled.

The front-facing camera is placed in a pop-up mechanism and packs a 16MP sensor. On the back, the trio of shooters comprises of a 64MP, 13MP and another 13MP unit. They are positioned in a circular module with a LED flash below it. Power will be supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with a 44W fast charger - just like on the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G. Vivo NEX 3 5G will be based on a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage. It will offer 5G connectivity supporting two non-standalone bands - B41 and B78, again - just like the iQOO Pro 5G. Source
