They're not only limited to the local market but also lack the support for international bands needed to be used outside the Middle Kingdom. One of the first smartphones launched for the global market in 2025 is the Honor Magic7 Lite 5G. It is the international version of the Honor X9c which debuted in China a couple of months ago. There are some minor differences we spotted. The Magic7 Lite 5G has an IP64 rating, while the X9c has an IP65 rating for protection against spills and dust. Moreover, the colorways of the two models are different, and the RAM+storage options, too. The Magic7 Lite 5G has only one flavor - 8GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. All the rest is the same, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset that fuels the devices. It houses a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 710 GPU.
The Honor Magic7 Lite 5G has a 3D curved design on the front and back featuring Honor's ultra-bounce anti-drop technology 2.0 that ensures the device survives drops from up to 2 meters of height. A 5-star SGS rating is also mentioned. The device also has a three-layer water resistance structure providing 360-degree protection from water spills and splashes. The slim body is available in Titanium Purple and Titanium Black colors. A 6600 mAh solid-state battery with a silicon-carbon anode keeps the lights on. It supports 66W SuperCharge and benefits from AI safe charging and AI super power-saving mode when needed. The industry-leading battery coating ensures stable and safe performance even under extreme temperatures from -30 to 55 degrees Celsius.
The Honor Magic7 Lite 5G is built around a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 10-bit color bit depth. It delivers 4000 nits of peak brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The display also supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and employs a number of eye-protection technologies, including 3840 Hz PWM dimming and Dynamic Dimming. The camera department is headed by a 108MP shooter using most probably the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with a 1/1.67" optical format. It is paired with an f/1.75 lens and aided by OIS+EIS. There's a 5MP ultra-wide and macro lens on the rear as well. The front camera uses a 16MP sensor and an f/2.45 lens. The model is also fitted with dual stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, and NFC.
