Unihertz 8849 Tank 5 Pro and Unihertz Titan 2 Elite will be showcased at MWC 2026 in BarcelonaAdd DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleUnihertz is gearing up for a high‑profile appearance at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, where the company will unveil two new smartphones that highlight its reputation for unconventional, purpose‑built mobile devices. The event runs from March 2 to March 5 in Barcelona and remains the world's most influential gathering for the mobile and connectivity industry.

MWC has long served as a global stage for brands to showcase breakthroughs across hardware, software, and network technologies. For Unihertz, the show offers an opportunity to demonstrate its continued commitment to niche‑focused innovation - devices designed not to follow mainstream trends, but to serve users who want something different.

This year, the company is introducing two distinctly positioned smartphones. The first is the Titan 2 Elite, a new entry in Unihertz’s well‑known QWERTY lineup. The device brings a refined design to the Titan series, emphasizing elegance without abandoning the physical keyboard that defines the brand’s identity. Aimed at professionals, heavy communicators, and fans of tactile input, the Titan 2 Elite caters to users who still prefer the precision and feel of real keys over touchscreen typing.

The second major debut is the Unihertz 8849 Tank 5 Pro, a rugged flagship built around advanced thermal‑imaging capabilities. Unihertz describes it as the world’s first smartphone equipped with a 50‑megapixel thermal camera powered by the FLIR Lepton 3.1R radiometric LWIR module. With a 90‑degree wide‑angle lens, the camera captures a broader field of view and delivers pixel‑level temperature measurements across the entire frame - technology typically reserved for industrial‑grade equipment. The Tank 5 Pro also includes an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and integrates a built‑in DLP projector, enabling users to watch movies or stream content directly from the device.

Unihertz will showcase both smartphones at Hall 7, Booth 7G5, inviting media, partners, and attendees to experience the devices firsthand. With these launches, the company aims to reinforce its position as one of the few smartphone makers still willing to explore unconventional form factors and specialized hardware at scale.
