Cubot X90 is unveiled, a Hafury Meet doubleCubot X90 is a brand-new smartphone by Cubot that will be launched to the market on June 17. It is almost entirely identical to the Hafury Meet which we have already reviewed in detail. There's one important difference, however - the Cubot X90 arrives with 16GB of RAM. Oh, and it runs on Android 14 out of the box, while the Hafury Meet has Android 13.

The smartphone has a 3D curved 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch hole in the top center for the selfie camera. The latter uses a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 sensor and a 5-element lens with an 81° FoV and an f/2.45 aperture. The rear camera department houses four shooters. The main one uses a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 ISOCELL sensor paired with a 6-element lens with an f/1.8 aperture and an 82.3° FoV. The second rear shooter is a 16MP ultra-wide unit with an OmniVision OV16880 sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, and a 117° FoV. The third lens is a 5MP OmniVision OV5670 macro one, while the fourth is a 0.3MP depth-sensing unit. The device also has a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie snapper.

Cubot X90 is based on a MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) chipset with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a 1GHz dual-core Mali-G57 GPU. It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of unexpandable UFS 2.2 storage. Power is supplied by a 5100 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The wireless connectivity options of the model include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, and Cast Display. The smartphone also arrives with NFC support and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
