Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is finally here with a Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform and updated hinge

Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleXiaomi MIX Flip 2 was the crown jewel in Xiaomi's announcement of smartphones and tablets for the Chinese market. It follows closely last year's model, offering logical and expected upgrades. For starters, the MIX Flip 2 has an upgraded hinge with a "three-link, four-floating plate" structure. On one hand, it improved the sturdiness of the entire handset and on the other, it provides more screen space. You can choose from eight special edition colors and four more stand options. The external display uses an M9 AMOLED panel with a 4.01-inch diagonal size and a resolution of 1392 x 1208 px. The main display has a 6.86-inch diagonal size, a resolution of 1224 x 2912 px, and also uses an M9 AMOLED panel. Both have a 120Hz refresh rate and deliver a peak local brightness of 3200 nits. The two units are HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid certified. TUV certifications for eye safety are also in tow.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is powered by the same 5165 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support but this year Xiaomi also adds 50W wireless charging. The chipset is also upgraded to the Snapdragon 8 Elite with a dual VC Stereo cooling system. The RAM and storage options remain intact - 12GB/16Gb and 256GB/512GB/1TB, respectively. The camera department boasts a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main shooter with a Leica Summilux lens comprising 1G+6P elements and OIS. The telephoto unit is replaced by a 50MP ultra-wide and macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. A 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 sensor is used for the selfie camera. This flip phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and supports NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. It is equipped with dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port. The model is priced as follows:
