Belated - Xiaomi 14 Pro goes official with an advanced display and camera department

Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship smartphones and here we discuss the Xiaomi 14 Pro which features a two-sided four-way curved design. This means that the glass on the front and the glass on the back are curved on all four sides. The model is 8.49 mm thick and weighs 223 g. The available colors include green, black, and white. The model is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. There's a Titanium Edition as well with a 99% titanium chassis and a double-sided Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass with oleophobic coating.
The display of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is one of its selling points. After two years of research and more than 130 patents, the Xiaomi team has come up with a very durable display that employs a 16.4 μm packaging layer increasing the elasticity of the screen material 1.5 times. Finally, Xiaomi shared it has used FIAA's in-pixel routing technology that bundles the signal lines within the screen. The display has been co-developed with TCL CSOT which shared that the display uses C8 AMOLED luminescent material and advanced LTPO technology. The result is a very bright display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The resolution of the 6.73" screen is 1440 x 3200 px and the color bit depth is 12-bit. The model also uses DC dimming and 1920 Hz PWM dimming. The model is HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision certified and is also TUV Rheinland verified for being safe for the eyes.
Xiaomi 14 Pro also has an advanced camera department. It features three professional Leica Master Summilux lenses and the new 50MP Light Hunter 900 sensor for the main camera which also supports a variable aperture from f/1.42 to f/4.0. The main camera is equipped with a 7-element lens and OIS. The second camera is an ultra-wide one with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, a 115-degree FoV, an f/2.2 aperture, a 14 mm focal length equivalent, and a 6-element lens. There's also a 50MP telephoto unit with the same Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and a 6-element lens. On the front, the selfie camera uses the 32MP OmniVision OV32B sensor.
This smartphone is based on the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform paired with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Power is supplied by a 4880 mAh battery with two Surge P2 charging chips and a Surge G1 battery management core. The device supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Furthermore, the device is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, dual stereo speakers, a quad-microphone array, a 1016 X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
