It positions the model as the most entertainment‑centric member of its tablet lineup, sitting above the standard Pad 70 and below the Pad 70 Pro. The device arrives with the industry's first 9‑unit JBL Pro Speaker System, a layout that combines four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators. Dolby Atmos tuning shapes the output, and the tablet includes pre‑tuned Dynamic, Movie, and Music modes. There's even a dedicated Bluetooth Speaker Mode that lets the tablet act as a standalone speaker, complete with remote playback control from a paired phone.
The Motorola Moto Pad 70 Groove is built around a 12.1‑inch 2.5K LCD panel that pushes 120 Hz, reaches 800 nits in High Brightness Mode, and carries HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. It's a large canvas designed for streaming, gaming, and long reading sessions, backed by TÜV Rheinland certifications for flicker‑free performance and reduced blue light. The camera department comprises a 13MP main shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper.
Inside, the tablet runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, an octa‑core platform with four Cortex‑A78 performance cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex‑A55 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. It's paired with 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB. Graphics are handled by the Arm Mali‑G615 MC2 GPU. The tablet ships with Android 16 or later, positioning it for long‑term software support.
The Pad 70 Groove carries a 10,200 mAh battery and includes a 68 W charger in the box, while supporting 45W fast charging. Connectivity covers Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB‑C (Hi‑Speed USB), and a microSD slot. It features a built-in 360‑degree metal kickstand.
