Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus are finally official, each has an in-display fingerprint sensorMeizu has finally unveiled the Meizu 16 series of smartphones. It includes two models - Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus. The two are almost identical as the differences are not so many - the diagonal size (6 inches and 6.5 inches), height (150.5 mm and 160.4 mm), width (73.2 mm and 78.2 mm), the battery's capacity (3010 mAh and 3640 mAh), the storage capacity (64/128GB and 128/256GB). All the rest in terms of specs and features is the same. Each smartphone has a metal body with a 7.3-mm depth, available in two colours - black and white. The display uses an FHD+ Super AMOLED panel from Samsung and employs an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, a Snapdragon 845 mobile platform is at work paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The built-in memory is of the UFS 2.1 type and cannot be expanded. The batteries support mCharge 4.0 and arrive with 12V/2A fast chargers. Each of the smartphones uses a 12MP Sony IMX380 sensor for its primary shooter on the back. It is coupled with a 6-element lens with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, laser AF, and OIS. The second rear shooter is a telephoto one. It packs a 20MP Sony IMX350 sensor and a 5-element lens with an f/2.6 aperture. The selfies cameras of the models are equipped with 20MP Sony IMX376 sensors and f/2.0 lenses. Moreover, both smartphones have stereo speakers. Each runs on FlyMe OS based on Android 8.0 Oreo and supports Bluetooth 5, simultaneous 4G LTE with VoLTE and 4X4 MIMO, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, etc. The prices are as follows: for the Meizu 16 - 6GB+64GB=CNY 2698 (USD 395), 6GB+128GB=CNY 2998 (USD 439), 8GB+128GB=CNY 3298 (USD 482); for the Meizu 16 Plus - 6GB+128GB=CNY 3198 (USD 468), 8GB+128GB=CNY 3498 (USD 512), 8GB+256GB=CNY 3998 (USD 585).Source
