Infinix HOT 70 series debuts with fashion‑first design and one‑tap AI experience

Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleInfinix is pushing hard against the sameness of today's smartphone market, and the new Infinix HOT 70 series is its boldest attempt yet. Built around the idea that a phone should be an extension of personal style rather than just a slab of specs, the lineup arrives with a fashion‑first design language, a suite of one‑tap AI tools, and durability features that feel unusually ambitious for its segment.
The centerpiece of the launch is the brand‑new Dynamic Shine Design, an aesthetic built around color, texture, and light. Infinix introduces an unprecedented palette of 12 colorways, with the standout Thermo Orange edition using a temperature‑responsive Dual‑way Thermo Sensing Skin. As Ifinix notes, "the bistable thermochromic finish shifts orange tones with temperature," allowing the back panel to deepen to a rich Deep Orange in cold conditions and brighten to a Light Orange when warm. Users can even imprint patterns or symbols onto the surface, turning the phone into a literal canvas.
For those who prefer a more fashion‑driven look, Quiet Violet and Green Texture editions use Lumina Flare Dynamic Flame Texture, a micro‑structured surface that refracts light into shifting patterns. The Crystal Mood Island camera deco adds a jewelry‑like accent, transforming the camera module into a design feature rather than a functional necessity.
Beyond aesthetics, the Infinix HOT 70 leans heavily into accessible AI. A dedicated One‑Tap AI Button gives instant access to tools that normally require multiple steps. A short press triggers AI FlashMemo, which not only captures what’s on screen but interprets user intent - turning flight times into calendar events or business card details into contacts. Everything saved flows into AI MindHub, a centralized knowledge base that automatically organizes screenshots, notes, and media. A long press activates Folax AI, offering quick access to multiple leading AI models, including ChatGPT and Google Gemini, without switching apps.
The device also brings AI‑powered imaging features such as AI Live Photo Mode, AI Eraser, and AI Extender, paired with a 50MP main camera designed for everyday shooting.
Powering all this is a large battery system - either 6000 mAh or a dual‑cell 5600 mAh, depending on region - supported by 45W Lightning FastCharge that reaches full capacity in about an hour. All‑Scenario Bypass Charging keeps temperatures low during long streaming or gaming sessions by routing power directly to the device instead of the battery. A 6.78‑inch 120Hz display with up to 700 nits HBM brightness rounds out the daily‑use experience, backed by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate platform for stable multitasking.
The Infinix HOT 70 brings IP65 dust and splash resistance, SGS‑certified drop protection, and testing that includes "1.5m extreme drops, multi‑angle falls, and over 40 consecutive front‑face drops," according to the document. Additional protections include Folax‑Speaker Cleaner for removing dust and moisture, XGuard Full‑Link Protection for privacy and security, and Pure Voice noise cancellation for clearer calls in noisy environments. UltraLink extends connectivity with Bluetooth‑based communication up to 1.5km when cellular networks fail.
Software support is unusually generous for the segment: up to three major OS upgrades and five years of security patches on models with 6GB RAM and above.
Infinix also teased the upcoming HOT 70 Pro, promising upgrades across design, imaging, AI, and performance, with details to follow.
The HOT 70 is available in Thermo Orange, Quiet Violet, Green Texture, Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, and Dive Blue, with configurations up to 256GB storage and 8GB RAM (plus expandable RAM). Pricing and availability vary by region, with details listed on the official Infinix website.
