Itel A90 debuts with entry-level specifications

Itel A90 debuted today, featuring entry-level specifications. It is based on an unknown octa-core T7100 chipset. Having in mind that the Unisoc T7200 is the new name of the Unisoc T606 chipset, the T7100 is probably another rebranded Unisoc chip that is even weaker than the T606. Itel is all silent about the SoC on its page. There's a "licensed by Qualcomm" sign on one of the renders but whether this is true or not remains to be seen. Hopefully, the page will be updated with more correct details. There are 3GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of built-in storage. The camera department is quite simple with a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP snapper for selfies. There's a 6.6-inch IPS display on the front with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging support. The device runs on Itel OS 14 based on the Android 14 Go edition. The available colors include Starlit Black, Aurora Blue, Cosmic Green, and Space Titanium. The Itel A90 has an IP54 rating for being resistant to some dust and water splashes. It also has an enforced frame for being able to resist some drops.
