OnePlus 6T is official with a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint sensorEven before the OnePlus 6T was officially presented, it was unveiled that it will be available in the US via T-Mobile in 5600 stores across the country. After presenting the audience with its "Never Settle" philosophy, OnePlus launched a quick promo video of the OnePlus 6T unveiling all the basic specs. The handset evolves around a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, which has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch. The presentation focuses on the in-display technology in detail as this is the most prominent innovation and feature of the 6T over the 1+6. The total unlock speed is 0.34 seconds. The screen covers 100.63% of the sRGB colour space and has a peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, there's a Snapdragon 845 chipset and power relies on a 3700 mAh battery with fast charge. Interestingly enough, OnePlus did not use the "Dash" word. There are two rear shooters on the back - a 16MP and a 20MP one. The main camera has an f/1.7 lens. OIS and EIS are supported along with 480 fps slow-motion videos. OnePlus introduces Nightspace on the 1+6T, which has two major improvements. This feature will also trickle down to OnePlus 6 as well. The model supports 233 carriers in 74 countries. It was also confirmed that OnePlus will be one of the first to launch a 5G smartphone next year. OnePlus 6T has been optimized for gaming as well, it uses SmartBoost, which uses the RAM as storage. This offers 20% faster loading times in games. Software optimization is the third aspect of offering great performance, in addition to top hardware and improved gaming experience. It includes 500+ targeted optimizations.

Pricing and availability. The 6GB+128GB version costs USD 529, the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at USD 579, the 8GB+256GB version can be obtained for USD 629. Moreover, T-Mobile offers up to USD 300 off if you trade in your old OnePlus (any of the models), your old iPhone (from the iPhone 6 up), your old Samsung Galaxy S (from the S6 to the S8 series), as well as select Pixels, Motorola and LG models. OnePlus 6T will go on sale in North America on November 1st and in Europe - on November 6th.
