Vivo X100s Pro and Vivo X100s debut in ChinaVivo has unveiled the X100s series in homeland China and it does not differ a lot from the X100 series announced in November 2023.

Vivo X100s specifications and comparison with Vivo X100

The main difference between the Vivo X100s (V2359A) and the Vivo X100 (V2309A) is the chipset. The new model has a Dimensity 3000+ chip with a 3.4GHz X4 core, while the Dimensity 3000 chip on the older model has a 3.25GHz X4 core. In addition, the camera department, while retaining the same sensors and lenses, uses the new Vivo BluePrint V2 imaging chip which has undergone a hardware-level reconstruction and upgrade. Starting from the underlying technology of the chip, it has rebuilt three major components: on-chip memory unit, AI computing unit, and image processing unit. Hence, the camera improves AI NR noise reduction, HDR, and MEMC frame interpolation. The AI computing unit is now faster and so is the on-chip memory unit.

The Vivo X100s (V2359A) and the Vivo X100 have one and the same sensors and lenses. These include a 50MP Sony IMX920 main shooter with an f/1.57 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 15 mm focal length equivalent and an f/2.0 aperture, and a 64MP telephoto lens that's optically stabilized and has an f/2.57 aperture and a 3x optical zoom. A 32MP sensor powers the front camera. Zeiss T* coating, Zeiss Vario-Tessar lenses, and Zeiss photography effects are used in all.

The X100s has a 5100 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, whle the X100 has a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The displays of the two models are identical - a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with an 8T LTPO backplane, 10-bit color bit depth, adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px, and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. 2160 Hz PWM dimming for eye protection is also specified. In-display fingerprint sensors for both models are also provided. Some minor differences in the dimensions and the available colorways are also noticed. The X100s is priced as follows:

Vivo X100s Pro specifications and comparison with Vivo X100 Pro

Vivo X100s Pro and the Vivo X100 Pro has identical displays and camera department with the above-mentioned improvements. The displays are actually 3D curved versions of the flat screens of the non-Pro models. The X100s Pro also features the Dimensity 3000+ chip retaining the same RAM and storage variants. The camera department comprises three 50MP Sony IMX989 rear shooters. The tele lens has an f/2.57 aperture and a 100 mm focal length equivalent. The optical zoom is up to 4.3x. The main camera has an f/1.75 aperture and the ultra-wide lens has an f/2.0 aperture with a 15mm focal length equivalent. There's a 32MP selfie snapper on the front with an f/2.0 aperture as well. The battery capacity also remains unchanged - 5400 mAh but with 100W fast charging support. The 50W wireless charging support is retained. The X100s Pro ditches the green color option and remains with the titanium, white, and black ones. It is priced as follows:
