Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 go official

Samsung unveiled a trio of Galaxy A smartphones. The first is the Samsung Galaxy A56 based on the Exynos 1580 chipset. The latter houses a 2.9GHz octa-core CPU and an Xclipse 540 GPU. It is paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of built-in storage that cannot be expanded. A 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support keeps the lights on. The front of the device is adorned with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 8-bit screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The camera department is headed by a 50MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It is adjoined by a 12MP ultra-wide unit and a 5MP macro lens. A 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens is used for the selfie camera on the front. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 on top. The 8GB+128GB version of the Samsung Galaxy A56 costs EUR 479 and the price of the 8GB+256GB variant is EUR 529.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 is identical in everything to its A56 sibling except for the 8GB ultra-wide unit and the chipset. This model is based on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile platform with a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 710 GPU. You can choose from 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The device has a dual Nano-SIM card tray. Its pricing is set as follows: EUR 379 for the 8GB+128GB version and EUR 449 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 also has the same 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and the same rear cameras but the selfie snapper is a 13MP unit. The battery's capacity remains unchanged but the charging rate drops to 25W. The chipset is again the main difference. On the European version of the model, Exynos 1380 is used. While the The Samsung Galaxy A26 LATAM (Latin America) is based on the Exynos 1280 SoC. The RAM has two flavors - 6GB and 8GB and the storage can be 128GB or 256GB with an option to expand it with a microSD card of up to 1TB. The Galaxy A26 also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, unlike the A36 and A56 which have in-display fingerprint readers. In Europe, the Galaxy A26 costs EUR 299 and EUR 379 for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB version, respectively.
