iiiF150 B2 Ultra and iiiF150 B2 are unveiled with big batteries and cool rugged design

iiiF150 has released the second generation of its B lineup of rugged smartphones - the iiiF150 B2 Ultra and the iiiF150 B2.

iiiF150 B2 Ultra specifications and features

The Ultra version is the more interesting one of the two. It is built around a 6.8-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The same glass protects the rear shell which houses a circular camera island and a circular secondary display with a 1.1" diameter. This display shows the time, notifications, battery status, audio controls, and others supporting Micro Motion sensing. The latter means it responds to gestures with the hand.

The camera department of the iiiF150 B2 Ultra houses a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL H3P main shooter with a 7-element lens, an f/1.65 aperture, and an 84.7° FoV. It is adjoined by a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Night Vision camera with autofocus, a 6-element lens, an f/1.79 aperture, and a 79.8° FoV. For selfies, the smartphone uses a 32MP Sony IMX616 camera with a 5-element lens, an f/2.0 aperture, and an 83.84° FoV.

The iiiF150 B2 Ultra is based on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a 1GHz dual-core Mali-G57 GPU. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The latter can be expanded via a microSD card with up to 1TB. Power is supplied by a 15000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 13 and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and has a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

iiiF150 B2 strongly resembles its predecessors - the B1. The main difference between the two is the chipset - the new model is based on the Unisoc Tiger T606 SoC with a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU and a 650MHz single-core Mali-G57 GPU. There are also 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM on board and 256GB of expandable built-in storage. The device is powered by a 10000 mAh battery with 18W charging that ensures 1100 hours of standby time.

The iiiF150 B2 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 1.1 mm thick Corning Gorilla Glass and a rectangular rear display with a 1.1" diagonal size. The V-shaped notch houses an 8MP Samsung S5K3P9SP selfie camera, while on the back there are two shooters - a 48MP main camera and a 20MP Night Vision unit with autofocus. This model also runs on Android 13 and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and has a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
