Vivo S50 Pro mini also debuted today, aimed at users who demand both professional-grade photography and powerful everyday performance. The phone features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 94.38% screen-to-body ratio, and a resolution of 1216 x 2640 pixels. With support for HDR technology, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10.7 billion colors, the display promises vibrant visuals and smooth responsiveness.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform. The octa-core CPU configuration includes two cores clocked at 3.80GHz and six at 3.32GHz, paired with the Adreno 829 GPU. LPDDR5X RAM options include 12GB or 16GB paired with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fast multitasking and ample space for media. The phone runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Photography is a central focus of the S50 Pro mini. The rear triple-camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony ultra-sensitive main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with up to 100x digital zoom, and a 110° ultra-wide-angle lens. Both the main and telephoto cameras support OIS stabilization, while EIS is available across front and rear modules. The camera suite supports advanced modes such as night scene, portrait, panorama, slow motion, and even astrophotography. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera ensures high-resolution video calls and content creation.
Battery life is another highlight. The phone houses a 6500 mAh cell with support for 90W wired fast charging and up to 40W wireless charging. Vivo claims standby time can reach up to 21.5 days, while VoLTE talk time extends to 22.3 hours, depending on network conditions. Connectivity options include support for 5G SA, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth aptX Lossless, NFC payments, and dual nano-SIM slots.
The S50 Pro mini is available in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB priced at 3699 yuan, 12GB + 512GB at 3999 yuan, and 16GB + 512GB at 4299 yuan. Color options include Deep Space Black, Spiritual Purple, and White.
